Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition

The three-year undergraduate course in Food Science and Human Nutrition (180 Course Credits with mandatory participation) provides students with the necessary skills to take up technical roles in food research and quality control labs, restaurant chains and food education initiatives

The Degree Course also involves laboratory and field work related to specific objectives, which are conducted in the form of trainee internships in private companies and public administration facilities, so ensuring students have the necessary competences to start work in the food industry.

The three-year undergraduate course in Food Science and Human Nutrition also enables graduates to successively enroll for the Food Science and Human Nutrition – Master Degree. On completing the later, and on passing the State examination, graduates are qualified to enroll with the National Order of Biologists. Moreover, the three-year undergraduate course in Food Science and Human Nutrition is linked to the University-Private Enterprise Committee, which has participation from a number of important sector specific companies.
