Who is the Bootcamp for?

The Bootcamp is especially designed for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students, researchers and young professionals with a background in engineering and computer programming who are eager to add to their CVs an international experience complementing their degree(s) and want to start a career in IoT and AI.

Entirely held in a university college in order to give participants the full “Cambridge experience”, the Bootcamp is an intensive three week residential programme in a totally full-immersion environment

University of Cambridge Lecturers and Tutors

Designed in collaboration with professors and tutors from the University of Cambridge to provide a short and effective course based on experiential learning that is totally practical

  IoT & AI Foundation Courses

First two weeks: intense teaching/tutoring in the core technical subjects. Ideal to introduce participants to foundations of IoT and to the main tools and methods of Artificial Intelligence through lectures, seminars, small group work and hands-on tutorials.

WEEK 1: IoT & Rapid Prototyping week based on Arm material developed by Prof. Kabla and Prof. Forni of the Engineering Department at the University of Cambridge.
WEEK 2: AI & Data Representation week based on a programme designed in collaboration with our Advisory Board. 

  Hackathon with Industry Case-Studies

WEEK 3: Hackathon. Ideal to provide practical experience using industry case-studies from our partners through a week-long hackathon and hands-on project work

schedule 22 hours of Lectures 

schedule 25 hours of hands-on Labs and Tutorials

schedule 18 hours of Transferable Skills Training

Transferable skills training integrated in the three weeks to complement the technical teachings in order to develop communication and presentation skills, time and project management skills, collaboration, leadership and team-working skills

Daily Teamwork and Hands-on Sessions

Team Presentations and Jury Panel

Final Formal Dinner and Award Ceremony
