International Cooperation for Development

The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome’s commitment to assisting developing countries is without doubt a core part of the University’s identity: the growth and transfer of knowledge in the service of humankind. We therefore believe that it is perfectly coherent for the University to direct this commitment towards those places where the benefits of this knowledge are most needed. The writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry would probably still call these places the “Terres des Hommes”: places towards which the University is duty bound to look.

The University offers students the opportunity to participate in activities of assistance and education in healthcare and nutrition, inter-university research programs, and development projects of social infrastructure in developing countries. Work camps are organized in various African and Latin American countries, particularly during the summer months.

Give us your support

By supporting the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome’s international cooperation activities, you too can help people in need and help our young students develop a sense of cooperation and solidarity. The donations received will in fact enable us to purchase the materials required for our programs of intervention and will help cover the cost of flights for our student volunteers. Not a single Euro will be wasted on covering administration costs.
