The departmental faculty is characterized by research, training and technological transfer for the application of the concept of sustainability and the One Health approach in order to train professionals capable of meeting the needs of society, guaranteeing achievement for future generations of achieve their own, considering human health inextricably linked to the health of the entire ecosystem. Food-health and well-being interactions, science, technologies and engineering for the environment, energy, the circular economy and sustainability constitute the focus of our mission as they are crucial sectors for the development of a modern society.

The technological aspects are harmonized with a modern sensitivity to the normative and regulatory contexts of the man-environment binomial and with an ethical and anthropological study of the phenomena of change, in line with the perspectives of an authentic technological humanism.
