Giovanni Di Pino was born in Catania in August 1979, spent his childhood in Veneto and adolescence at the foot of Etna, and in 1997 he moved to Rome to study. After various experiences in neuroscience laboratories in the States, in 2003, at the age of 23, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery, 110/110 honors and honorable mention, at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.

Contract professor of Surgery is present at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma since the 2013/2014 academic year with orientation and tutoring duties in the teaching of oncology surgery (SSD MED/18) for the Master's Degree course in Medicine and Surgery at the Departmental Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. From 2020/2021 he began the role of professor of Surgery for the Master's Degree course in Physiotherapy as part of the integrated exam in Oncology and First Aid.
