He is Associate Professor of History of Medicine at the Departmental Faculty of Medicine and Surgery ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, where he directs the Research Unit in History of Science and Technology. He also teaches "History of Science and Technology" at the Departmental Faculty of Engineering of the same University.
He has promoted and is Main administrator of "Himetop - The History of Medicine Topographical Database" (http://himetop.net), an international web 2.0 project for the identification and enhancement of the material traces left by the history of medicine and related disciplines.
