The Clinical Direction of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital organizes the concert in the hospital, curated by Sara Bartolucci (vocals) and Simona Iemmolo (guitar). Music, and more generally the musical expression on which music therapy is based, represent a universal language capable of going beyond words, promoting dialogue, conveying and communicating emotions. It stands as a support tool, particularly versatile and therefore suitable for different situations and pathologies. The areas of intervention include, among other things, the developmental age in all its phases and problems, emotional difficulties in particular conditions of stress, prevention and rehabilitation and, in general, support for expressiveness, creativity , communication and contact with one's own internal resources, especially if blocked due to particular critical situations. A music therapy professional is in possession of a multidisciplinary theoretical-practical preparation, built up through a specific multi-year training and supervision path. The proposal aims to help strengthen what is already being done in UCBM in terms of "care of the patient in the unity of his material and spiritual needs" and at the same time proposes to place himself at the service of operators who carry out the delicate task of taking care of the other.
