Fighting against a disease changes your life, affects your daily life, makes you lose stimuli; it becomes increasingly difficult to find a smile and take care of yourself. The Oncology Area nurses of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital have organized a make-up course for oncological patients.
The course is designed to promote the well-being of women living with a disease being treated. The event is divided into two moments: in the first phase, professional beauticians will take care of cancer patients with specific facial treatments; in the second, however, they will hold one make up school where patients will be able to learn little tricks to counteract any aesthetic side effects caused by drugs. To encourage participation and so that the beauticians can devote themselves more carefully to their patients, the program includes two appointments, one at 14.30 pm and the other at 16.30 pm.
