Non-luminal breast cancer: tissue markers and therapeutic strategies

It is now an established fact that theprecision oncology, which foresees that specific biological and genetic alterations of the tumor become the target of an individualized treatment giving rise to real "patient-friendly" therapies, is able to improve survival rates in the metastatic phase of the disease, up to double them.

This new approach, which provides for a real personalization of therapies (targeted therapy) requires an integration of skills that come from different professional figures who, thanks to their experience, allow a correct interpretation of genetic and molecular data and the choice of the appropriate therapeutic strategy.

In this perspective, the course ecm on breast cancer aims to provide participants with an update on the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to breast cancer, including an examination of the diagnostic, prognostic and response predictive molecular factors for clinical use.
