The Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital adheres, on Saturday 26 November, to the National Parkinson's Day 2016 organized by the Italian Academy for the study of Parkinson's disease and movement disorders (LIMPE-DISMOV). Throughout the morning, the specialists of the Neurology Complex Operative Unit will be available to patients, family members and caregivers to provide useful advice and suggestions for dealing with the disease.

During the meetings, from 9.00 to 14.00, the latest diagnostic and therapeutic news, there will be room for insights and questions and all aspects related to Parkinson's will be addressed: from the correct lifestyles to adopt to how to take care of people affected by the disease, from the causes to motor and non-motor symptoms, from available therapies to the state of art of research and the new technologies available.

During the meeting, the Dr. Lazzaro di Biase, Neurologist and PhD student at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma andCEO of IBM Italy Enrico Cereda, will present the project "The Neurologist answers", a virtual assistant for Parkinson's disease patients and caregivers, developed thanks to the collaboration betweenUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and IBM.

  • 13.00 - 14.00: Final discussion and questions from the participants
