The next one Wednesday June 11, the Cu.Bo. Auditorium of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma will host the initiative Sacred IconsThe event has its origins in the recent trip to Russia carried out by three members of the university community UCBM, departed from Rome to Moscow at search for a language that touches the heart.
An intense experience, made of meetings, prayer and listening, culminating with the choice of thirteen sacred icons, which will become part of the daily newspaper UCBM: not only as art objects, but as living presences, capable of arousing a desire for peace.
The protagonists themselves will give voice to the meaning of the journey, accompanied by Prof. Giuseppe Ghini, Professor of Russian Language and Literature at the University of Urbino and a profound connoisseur of iconic art, who will guide you to discover these images, capable of speaking a universal language.
The icons will then be placed, together with teachers, students and administrative staff, in the University spaces.
