FAST - Institute of Philosophy of Scientific and Technological Action ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma organize a seminar on the topic Research ethics, the Platonic lesson of Theaetetus.
Prof. intervenes. Ariberto Acerbi of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (PUSC). The relationship between virtue and epistemology will be addressed starting from the Theaetetus, a dialogue in which the historical figure of Socrates is re-proposed as a model of authentic philosophizing.
The "Theaetetus" is a dialogue from Plato's maturity, in which the historical figure of Socrates is re-proposed as a model of authentic philosophizing. On the one hand, it is accurately described in its characteristics, especially from an ethical and methodological point of view; on the other hand, the development of the investigation conducted here on the essence of knowledge reaches speculative outcomes that significantly transcend the limits of this figure.
