Il Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital participates in the XXII edition of the Rome Marathon
Also in 2016 the structure will be? present with specialists, events, gadgets and prizes next to the organizers of the most? important running competition in the Capital, scheduled for Sunday 10 April. Since Thursday? April 7th, opening day of the event, sara? available to visitors and participants lo stand of the Marathon Village set up at the Palazzo dei Congressi of the EUR. Will it be at the center of the initiatives 'brought to the track' by the University Hospital this year? raising awareness of prevention and correct lifestyles.
Not surprisingly, for i winners of both sexes of the two races, the Rome Fun Run and the competitive race, the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital will put? available free comprehensive check-ups, which can be enjoyed within the Trigoria facility.
Will prevention and nutrition education be the focus of expert reports and activities? training program at the stand from 7 to 9 April. Will we leave? Thursday? 7 and Friday? 8 April with an appointment in which the protagonists will be the children of the Roman schools who participate in the project La Maratona va a scuola: for them, the teachers of theUCBM will hold a civic education course on healthy eating and oral hygiene at the Auditorium of the Palazzo dei Congressi of the EUR. Furthermore, the staff of the Campus Bio-Medico present in the spaces inside the two villages will distribute? gadgets and other information materials.
The UCBM will be? also active in the Roma Fun Village, near the Circus Maximus, on Sunday 10th April, the day of the race. For the competition, the University Hospital will put? medical material of various types is available to the health sector of the Marathon. Will participation be? also an opportunity to promote the importance of blood donation: a dedicated blood bank will be? available to those wishing to donate outside the Marathon Village square in the three days preceding the race.
