The Degree Program in Speech Therapy is a modern and qualifying training program, designed to meet the emerging needs of healthcare and communication rehabilitation. The curriculum is based on a contemporary vision of the speech therapist, understood as a healthcare professional with solid clinical skills, the ability to use technology wisely, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

The training course is designed to combine a rigorous theoretical framework with an intense activity of clinical internship, carried out, from the first year, in healthcare facilities and progressively structured over the three-year period, under the supervision of expert tutors.

The teachings, organised into modules, relate to the biomedical, neuropsychological, linguistic, phoniatric, pedagogical and rehabilitative disciplinesTeaching activities include lectures, exercises, workshops, and in-depth seminars, complemented by practical and professional development activities.

The program promotes the progressive acquisition of the operational skills necessary for speech therapy assessment and intervention in various clinical settings.

Il first year It is dedicated to the acquisition of basic biomedical, psychological, and linguistic knowledge, which constitute an educational asset that can be used both in the case of post-graduate continuation and for a possible reorientation of the university path in the biomedical field.

Il second year The program aims to deepen one's knowledge of the clinical and specialized disciplines of speech therapy, focusing on various voice, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Internships continue to consolidate diagnostic and rehabilitative skills, in an integrated program of theory and practice.

Il third year It focuses on completing professional speech therapy skills, with particular attention to assessment techniques and advanced rehabilitation interventions in the main clinical conditions, the organization of professional activity, and preparation for the final exam, in preparation for entering the healthcare profession.

The course promotes opportunities for internships and traineeships in international university and healthcare contexts, deepening teaching through the contribution of visiting lecturers and professors and a constant focus on technological innovation, the use of AI and digitalization in the healthcare sector.

Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences for Healthcare Professions (LM/SNT2)

The Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences of Health Professions (SCRIPS) is designed to promote the development of advanced skills in planning and management of human and economic resources, in the assessment of rehabilitation needs and in the planning of interventions, as well as in the management of working groups and in multi-professional integrationGraduates will be able to conduct and collaborate on research projects and activities, review scientific literature, and verify and apply the results obtained to continuously improve rehabilitation practices.

Among goals main figures include la mastery of current health regulations, the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families, systematic evaluation of intervention outcomes, collaboration within the multiprofessional team, and appropriate management of health information. The use of information technology is an integral part of the process, as is the timely documentation of rehabilitation practices and the planning of training activities aimed at continuous updating.

The training aims to develop graduates' integrated skills that enable them to collaborate effectively with other professionals and with the patient's family/caregiver. To this end, the training program includes:

The systematic inclusion of anthropological, ethical, and humanistic content gives the course a distinctive and innovative character, placing the individual at the center, enhancing the relational and therapeutic dimension, and training professionals capable of integrating technical expertise and human sensitivity.

English language teaching is also planned, aimed at understanding international scientific literature.

Il first year It aims to provide conceptual and methodological models in the field of educational psychology, in the design and evaluation of clinical research, and in leadership and governance in the healthcare sector.

Il second year The program aims to apply and contextualize the theoretical models and methodologies learned during the first year in the areas of research, communication, and leadership. Furthermore, students acquire skills related to the application of new technologies (including remote assistance and distance learning) in their relevant fields.

Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences (LM/SNT1)

The two-year course, structured into semesters, is designed to respond to the complex nursing care needs of the population, considering determining factors such as demographic aging and the increase in chronic diseases.

The goal of the program is to train nurses capable of high performance assistance and organizational skills in different healthcare contexts, with strong ethical sensitivity and specific skills for training and research.

CdLM Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics (LM 46R)

Il Master's Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics grows up six years with 360 CFU and over 5000 hours of theoretical and practical teaching. Students learn the fundamentals of medicine and dentistry in the first two years, while in the following three years they focus on dental medical and surgical disciplines. The sixth year includes didactic activity, almost exclusively professionalising, aimed at treating patients with odontostomatological problems, with specific training relating to the approach and interdisciplinary discussion of clinical cases.

Clinical internships integrate theoretical learning and the teaching method is interactive and multidisciplinary, with a problem-oriented learning approach e clinical involvement of students. Students are at the center of the training process, with attention to clinical practice and autonomy of initiative. Elective teaching activities allow the personalization of the curriculum.

Medicine and Surgery (LM-41)

The single-cycle master's degree course in Medicine and Surgery, conducted in English, offers its members an adequate theoretical-practical preparation in all areas of medicine. The training objective is identified with a both biomedical and psycho-social training, bearer of an interdisciplinary and integrated vision of the greats issues related to the health of the individual and the community. Particular emphasis will be given to the multi-ethnic and globalizing dimension of contemporary society, with specific reference to the variety of values ​​and cultural aspects and their impact on different social and health systems. This is increasingly important for the doctor who works in Italy, and requires knowledge that is not limited to the pathological phenomena historically prevalent in our country, but also opens up to the morbid conditions of migrants, for example. The openness to international specialist training therefore represents an added and innovative value of Medicine and Surgery.

Medicine and Surgery graduates will achieve a level of professional autonomy that will allow them to responsibly address any problem in terms of preventive medicine, diagnostic approach, prognostic evaluation, therapeutic planning and rehabilitation support. The didactic project and the teaching method foresee the integration of knowledge and a solid cultural and methodological basis. The study of the pre-clinical disciplines will make use of a practical approach based on laboratory activities and exercises carried out from the first two years, integrating morphology with physiology, in order to better understand the practical applications of the notions of genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry. The teaching method is mainly centered on practical and professionalizing activities that allow the student to come into contact as soon as possible with the patient and with the medical environment that surrounds him, essential elements for developing problem solving skills.

The course is organized in 12 semesters. In the first two years, two large courses are held dedicated to basic and preclinical training and therefore aimed at the knowledge of biology, genetics, biological chemistry, histology, human anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and the complementary humanistic training, therefore aimed at the knowledge of anthropology, ethics, history of medicine, psychology and human sciences. From the third year the clinical practice begins. The characteristic of the integrated clinical practice courses is to introduce pharmacology, diagnostic imaging and pathological anatomy, which integrate with the various clinical subjects, and are provided during this year as well as in the 4th and 5th °. During the sixth year, full involvement in clinical activity is expected with particular attention to general emergencies, general surgery, and basic medicine, as well as the importance of the role of health economics in the management of care resources, with a view not limited to to the Italian reality but open to the different national realities and related resource allocation methods. In this context, the role of forensic medicine is underlined, not only from an Italian but also an international point of view.

Medicine and Surgery 'MedTech' (LM-41)

Technology today is pervasive in every field, especially in medicine. This course is a direct response to the job markets’ needs for highly skilled Med Tech professionals in research and industry. Medical professionals need to acquire knowledge of a wide range of medical technology, from pacemakers to prosthetics, from imaging to big data.

We offer an innovative MD course with a -year programme entirely delivered in English designed to integrate clinical and engineering expertise. With this course we want to train future doctors with a solid hard science background and strong skills in applied biomedical technologies.

This Medical Degree gives full access to any Residency School and it gives a competitive advantage for programs where technology is a key component.

At the end of the MD course students are eligible to receive a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering with additional ECTS credits.

Medicina e Chirurgia (LM-41)

The Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery offers students aadequate theoretical-practical preparation in all fields of medicine. Graduates in Medicine and Surgery achieve a level of professional and operational autonomy such as to face and responsibly solve every professional problem in terms of preventive medicine, diagnostic approach, prognostic evaluation, therapeutic planning, and rehabilitation support. The new graduate acquires an adequate theoretical-practical ability in the field of internal medicine and general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and public health. The graduate will be able to detect and critically evaluate from a clinical point of view, and in a unitary vision extended to the human and sociocultural dimension, the data relating to the state of health and disease of the patient as an individual and in relation to the population and gender to which they belong. By the end of the course, the student develops knowledge and understanding that allow them to develop and apply original ideas, in the context of biomedical and general research. Furthermore, the degree course provides the student with the ability to search for scientific information so as to be able to independently provide for their own continuing education during the course of the profession.

The single-cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery is divided into six years.

Techniques in Medical Radiology, Imaging, and Radiotherapy (L/SNT3)

The availability of increasingly sophisticated medical equipment has long since revolutionized diagnostic procedures and therapeutic possibilities, making it necessary professionals with specific technical skills. The objective of the Degree Course in Medical Radiology Techniques for Imaging and Radiotherapy is to create a professional figure capable of carrying out independently, or in collaboration with other health figures, all diagnostic and therapeutic interventions prescribed by the doctor and which require the use of ionizing radiation, thermal and ultrasound energy, magnetic resonance.

Alongside the basic scientific subjects, the educational path includes specific teachings, such as Diagnostic Imaging Techniques and Radiotherapy with related digitization, archiving and transmission of images, Anthropology and History of Technology, Health Physics, Basic Oncology, clinic and Psychology.

Students can customize their study plan with elective educational activities of particular interest to them, for a total of 6 credits (monographic courses, participation in conferences and seminars, volunteering, additional optional internship, etc.).

The course of study includes an internship, carried out under the guidance of professional tutors, aimed at enhancing the student's ability to interact with other professional figures in teamwork and the human sensitivity necessary to manage the relationship with the patient with care and respect. The limited number of students also guarantees an easy and personal approach with the teaching staff.

The three-year course allows access to the Master's Degree or professional entry, with technical roles, in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine structures and in specific private companies in the sector.
