Artistic and cultural activities

Technical-scientific training is integrated with cultural activities to enrich the students'Technical-scientific training is integrated with cultural activities to enrich the students'university experience with artistic-cultural content. Throughout the year, we organiseguided tours in places of artistic, historical and cultural interest and trips to theatrical andmusical performances in Rome and its surroundings.

Among on-site activities we also promote the theatre workshop, the choir, the chamberensemble, the photography course and the film club.

Every year the University organises the Campus' Got Talent show, where students, teachers and administrative staff can perform, individually or in small groups, in three categories: singing and music, acting and entertainment, dance and artistic sports.

An all-round education

Training, tournaments, games, art and culture. University life also consists of this: sporting activities for relaxation, friendship and personal growth; cultural activities that are integrated with the scientific program for a complete, all-rounded education also from an historic-artistic perspective.

Sports activities

The Campus Bio-Medico Amateur Sporting Association was set up in September 2011 to promote the development and encouragement of sporting activities amongst the University’s students, lecturing staff, employees and past students. Governed by a Management Committee consisting of five members, this sporting body is recognized by CONI and offers a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, volleyball, rugby, running, skiing, sailing.

Every year the Association organizes a Sports Conference as part of the University’s “Sport and Culture Week". Many professionals have taken part in this initiative thus far, ranging from Gianni Rivera to Manuela Di Centa, from Bruno Conti to Simone Perrotta and from Morgan De Sanctis to Rudi Garcia.

Registering with the Association is a simple matter and can be done by going to the Sports Help Desk. The Association membership card also grants members access to accident insurance.

Thanks to special concessions, students and personnel of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome can also make use of a number of sports facilities situated not far from the University premises at preferential rates.

“It is important that sport remains a pleasure! Sport is only good for the body and the spirit as long as it remains a pleasure. Moreover, precisely because you are sportsmen and sportswomen, I invite you not simply to play the game, which you are already doing, but to do something more: to take part in the game of life, just as you are doing in your sport. Be part of the search for good, without fear but with courage and enthusiasm”. (Pope Francis, Gathering for the 70th anniversary of the CSI)
