The organizations that promote the University are the Campus Bio-Medico Association and Campus Bio-Medico Spa. They ensure that the Institution continues to strive to achieve the purposes outlined in the Statutes and Charter of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, partly via the appointment of representatives from each organization to serve on the University Council.
Supporting bodies include the Friends of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome Onlus and the Alberto Sordi Foundation.
Supports biomedical related studies and research. Collects donations from private individuals and businesses to support the University’s activities and grants bursaries and student loans. It is a charitable trust established in terms of the Ministerial Decree dated 28.09.1992.

Established in 1991 Campus Bio-Medico SpA (CBM SpA) is the holding company promoter of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, the founder of Ucbm University Hospital Foundation and the owner of the University Hospital, as well as the land on which the University campus is located. CBM SpA provides its entrepreneurial and management resources to enhance the University and Hospital Foundation’s institutional purposes and develop new projects fostering the growth of the Athenaeum. CBM SpA shareholders are non-profit organisations, istitutional and private investors.

Contributes towards spreading the image and the principles of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and collects donations to support the University’s educational, research and medical assistance activities. Organizes promotional events, healthcare volunteer courses as well as cultural and social activities in various Italian cities. The Association has branches in Rome and Milan.

The Alberto Sordi Foundation has its Headquarters in and operates from the University Hospital’s Healthcare Centre for the Elderly. It raises funds to support research of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in the field of age-related diseases. The Foundation is also involved in the social recovery of the elderly via the activities of the Alberto Sordi Association Onlus, which has designed an innovative model of intervention and operates in three Day Care Centres for the Frail Elderly, located in the area south of Rome and run with public support and utilizing the services of social and healthcare service volunteers.
