Purpose
The course is aimed at both those who already work in the health sector and those who are at their first experiences, as it allows them to develop skills, starting from the base, with a theoretical-practical approach, essential for being able to train learners capable of knowing already moving within a working context, albeit a new one.
At the end of the course students will be able to:
- manage human resources and relationships within interdisciplinary working groups and with respect to innovative organizational methods
- manage economic and financial resources
- manage information and communication processes with the use of adequate technology and documentation
- manage processes, projects and evaluations in the context of the coordination of services

The Master develops advanced skills in the first level organizational and management area, in order to implement health planning policies and interventions aimed at continuous quality improvement, with reference to the structural, technological and human resources of the area to which they belong, to ensure objectives of the health care system.
About
Admission to the Master requires a five-year high school diploma and a first-level degree in the health area in Nursing, Obstetrics, Pediatric Nursing, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Orthoptics and Ophthalmology Assistance, Neuro and Psychomotor Therapy of the Developmental Age, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Techniques, Occupational Therapy, Professional Education, Audiometric Techniques, Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostic Techniques, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques, Neurophysiopathological Diagnostic Techniques, Orthopedic Techniques, Audioprostheses, Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Cardiovascular Perfusion, Dental Hygiene, Dietetics, Prevention in the Environment and in the Workplace, Health Assistance or equivalent qualification. The Master is limited in number, for a maximum of 40 participants. The minimum number for activation is 30 participants.

The course is structured in 4 thematic areas which include integrated forms of theoretical activities, individual learning and field experiences with a problem-based approach. The 4th area is divided into three specific areas.
- Basic skills area
- Organizational skills area
- Area of economic-financial skills
- Management skills area
- Service management
- Change management
- Personnel management
At the end of each thematic area the student will have to pass an assessment test which may consist of a short written test and/or the presentation and discussion of a project. Passing these tests will allow access to the final test which consists in the elaboration and discussion of a thesis.
Frequency
Each meeting will take place on the following days and times:
- Thursday: 14.00 - 18.00
- Friday: 09.00 - 18.00
- Saturday: 09.00 - 13.00
Why
The Master offers the possibility of carrying out internships at partner structures of the University or at the company one belongs to. This allows those who are entering the world of work for the first time to immediately enter a company and hospital reality and to be guided towards the acquisition of skills and knowledge, even before entering a non-Master work reality.

Method of admission
The application for admission to the Master must be submitted by September 13, 2014 using the online procedure and involves entering:
- personal data
- resume
- dichiarasubstitutive certification
- payment of the admission fee of €50,00
For admission to the master, in addition to the evaluation of the curriculum, a preliminary interview is foreseen to evaluate the student's preparation also for the purpose of any reductions in the credits necessary for the achievement of the degree.
The selection will be made on the day September 18, 2014 at the headquarters ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. The ranking of those admitted will be announced on September 19, 2014 by publishing the list on this page.

Registration and payment
Having read the admission, the enrollment in the Master must be carried out by 23 September 2014. Failure to enroll within this deadline will be considered as withdrawal. Enrollment is considered completed by sending the enrollment form provided by the coordination to the Post-Graduate Training Service, together with a copy of the bank transfer certifying payment of the st installment.
All payments, including the one relating to the admission application, must be made to the bank current account in the name of:

Attendance fee
The enrollment fee for the entire Master is € 2.300 to be divided into 2 installments:
- €1.150 upon enrollment (September 23, 2014)
- €1.150 by 20 March 2015
Specify the reason for each payment. In no case will the fees be refunded. Enrollment in the Master's is incompatible with simultaneous enrollment in another course of study (first cycle degree courses, specialist degree courses, university diplomas, direct schools for special purposes, specialization schools, research doctorates and masters).

Internship
The purpose of the internship is to develop first-level managerial skills in the student for the management of operating units in hospital, residential and territorial socio-medical contexts. The professional activities outlined in the specific areas of competence are transformed into educational objectives which constitute the second part of the training contract. It can take place at the participants' workplaces. It provides for the elaboration, under tutorial supervision, of operational projects which will be discussed during the exam, at the end of each thematic area.
Final certificate
I level Master in Management for the Coordination Functions of the Health Professions. The recognition of training credits is linked to both regular attendance (compulsory for a total of hours of no less than 80% of the lessons and 100% of the traineeship activities), and passing the ongoing and final tests.
Pursuant to Circular 5 March 2002, n. 448 - National program for continuing education - ECM. (GU General Series n. 110 of 13 May 2002) - healthcare personnel who attend a master's degree are exempt from the obligation of the CME for all the years included in the training commitment
