The first level Master's degree in Management for the coordination functions of the health professions is a post-basic training course that aims to train health professionals capable of carrying out coordination functions in social-health structures. The Master is delivered in blended mode, i.e. part of the lessons are held in the classroom, part on the online platform.

Recipients and access requirements
Admission to the Master requires a five-year high school diploma and a first-level degree in one of the following health areas: Nursing, Obstetrics, Pediatric Nursing, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Orthoptics and Ophthalmology Assistance, Neurotherapy and Developmental psychomotricity, psychiatric rehabilitation techniques, occupational therapy, professional education, audiometric techniques, biomedical laboratory diagnostic techniques, diagnostic techniques for imaging and radiotherapy, neurophysiopathological diagnostic techniques, orthopedic techniques, hearing aids, cardiocirculatory physiopathology and cardiovascular perfusion, dental hygiene , Dietetics, Prevention in the Environment and in the workplace, Health care or equivalent qualification.
Educational objectives
The Master in Management for the coordination functions of the health professions develops advanced skills in the first level organizational and management area, in order to implement health planning policies and interventions aimed at continuous quality improvement, with reference to the structural, technological and human resources of the area to which they belong, to guarantee the objectives of the healthcare organization system.
Final profile
At the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- coordinate and manage human resources and relationships within interdisciplinary working groups with respect to innovative organizational methods
- manage economic and financial resources
- manage information and communication processes with the use of adequate technology and documentation
- manage processes, projects and evaluations in the context of the coordination of health services
- manage quality projects in relation to the continuous improvement of health services
Didactic structure
The Master is structured in 4 thematic areas which include integrated forms of classroom and online teaching, individual learning, tutorial meetings, training internship and development of specific project works. Classroom and online teaching introduces participants to the development of the skills necessary to face and solve management problems and to transfer the knowledge acquired in operational contexts. Each area provides in many cases a multidisciplinary approach for the identification and analysis of problems in the management of nursing pertinent services. These problems constitute the first part of the training contract. Classroom and online teaching is organized into the following thematic areas:
- basic skills (in presence)
- organizational skills (online and face-to-face)
- economic-financial skills (online and face-to-face)
- management skills
- change management (in presence)
- personnel management (in attendance)
- the management of the service (online and in attendance).
Internship
The internship activity and the realization of specific project works will allow the participants to consolidate and experiment with the theoretical contents explained in the classroom, measuring themselves with clinical-organizational and managerial problems. The internship can take place at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital and/or at other healthcare companies. 18 credits corresponding to a total of 450 hours are attributed to the training internship and the elaboration of the project works. Those who are already employed by an institution or company will be able to avail themselves of the possibility of carrying out the internship activity at the same. The internship will coincide directly with the elaboration of the project work.

There are reduced rates for staff of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital.
Title awarded
At the end of the course, the title of 80st level University Master in Management for the coordination functions of the health professions will be awarded. Recognition of training credits is linked to both regular attendance (compulsory for a total of hours of no less than 100% of the lessons and % of the traineeship activities) and passing the ongoing and final tests.
Participation in a University Master provides for the exemption from CME credits in compliance with the Determination of the CNFC of 17 July 2013 on the subject of "Exemptions, Exemptions, Individual Tutoring, Training Abroad, Self-learning, Registration Methods and Certification".
