The first level Master's degree in Management for the coordination functions of the health professions is a post-basic training course that aims to train health professionals capable of carrying out coordination functions in social-health structures. The Master develops advanced skills in the first level organizational and management area, in order to implement health planning policies and interventions aimed at continuous quality improvement, with reference to the structural, technological and human resources of the area to which they belong, to ensure objectives of the health care system.

Recipients and access requirements
Admission to the Master requires a five-year high school diploma and a first-level degree in one of the following degree classes:
- nursing health professions and midwifery health profession (SNT/01);
- rehabilitation health professions (SNT/02);
- technical health professions (SNT/03);
- prevention health professions (SNT/04);
or equivalent title.
Educational objectives
The achievement of the Master in Management for the Coordination Functions of the Health Professions is an essential requirement for covering the role of professional coordinator and being able to carry out the exercise of the coordination function as envisaged by art. 6 of Law 43/2006.
Final profile
At the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- manage human resources and relationships within interdisciplinary working groups and with respect to innovative organizational methods
- manage economic and financial resources
- manage information and communication processes with the use of adequate technology and documentation
- manage processes, projects and evaluations in the context of the coordination of services
- manage quality projects in relation to the continuous improvement of services
Didactic structure
The Master is structured in 4 thematic areas which include integrated forms of classroom and online teaching, individual learning, tutorial meetings, training internship and development of specific project works. Classroom and online teaching introduces students to the development of the skills necessary to face and solve management problems and to transfer the knowledge acquired in operational contexts.
Some general content relating to the area of organizational and economic-financial skills will be made available through an online platform for the relative acquisition by students.
Each area provides in many cases a multidisciplinary approach for the identification and analysis of problems in the management of nursing pertinent services. These problems constitute the first part of the training contract.

Internship
The internship activity and the realization of specific project works will allow the participants to consolidate and experiment the theoretical contents explained in the classroom, measuring themselves with clinical-organizational and managerial problems.
The internship can take place at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital and/or at other affiliated healthcare companies. 16 credits corresponding to a total of 400 hours are attributed to the training internship and the elaboration of the project works.
For those who are already employed by an institution or company and intend to carry out an internship at the same, the internship will coincide directly with the elaboration of the project work.
Scholarships covering
Discounted rates are provided for the staff of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital. The amount of each installment is, in this case, €750 each. instead of €1.050 each.
The Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma participates in INPS and other bodies' tenders for the awarding of scholarships to participants belonging to specific categories.
The ranking of the winners of these scholarships that may be awarded will be communicated in the manner and within the times specified by the relative notices published by the granting bodies.
Title awarded
Participants who complete the Master and are in compliance with the administrative obligations will be awarded the title of st level University Master in Management for the Coordination Functions of the Health Professions. The acknowledgment of the training credit is linked both to regular attendance and to passing the ongoing and final tests.
Participation in a University Master provides for the exemption from CME credits in compliance with the Determination of the CNFC of 17 July 2013 on the subject of "Exemptions, Exemptions, Individual Tutoring, Training Abroad, Self-learning, Registration Methods and Certification".
