Purpose

The scientific specialization and advanced training course at the end of which the II Level University Master in "Autism and School Integration" (AIS) is awarded is an initiative of the BTP project, Bio-Techno-Practice (FAST, Institute of Philosophy of Scientific and Technological Action) ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in collaboration with Instruction and Academic Development Srl (IAD Institute Srl). The course aims to train professionals capable of operating in scholastic, social and socio-health structures for the rehabilitation and integration of individuals with autistic disorders; it also offers the opportunity to update and deepen the knowledge and skills necessary to operate in training communities of scholastic and socio-educational structures and social-health care.

Educational objectives

At the end of the course, enrolled students will be able to acquire specific knowledge and skills on autism spectrum disorders which are essential for the educational and socio-educational relationship and above all for the functional evaluation, which aims to "differentiate" the different autistic subjects. Evaluation and educational interventions are in fact entrusted both to the doctor and to other professionals such as teachers, professional educators, social workers and various therapist figures.

Recipients and output profile

The Master is dedicated to those in possession of a Degree of at least four years (or more) from the system prior to DM 509/99, Specialist (DM 509/99) or Magistral (DM 270/04) or a equivalent qualification obtained abroad, which allows in EU and non-EU countries access to disciplinary and support teaching in schools of all levels and in special schools with differential classes, and to therapeutic activities in socio-educational and social-health structures. The enrollment of EU and non-EU foreign students residing in their own country or in Italy with a regular residence permit for work or study reasons is permitted.

Didactic structure

The AIS Master corresponds to 60 university credits (CFU), equal to 1500 all-inclusive hours; it is divided into distinct teaching modules by scientific-disciplinary sectors and credits. The Master is structured in 9 teaching units, 5 video lessons and 3 webinars and provides for an internship corresponding to 3 credits to be carried out over a period of two months.

The training activity is carried out:

  • in distance learning mode on an e-learning platform administered by IAD Institute Srl
  • in internship activities that will take place in socio-educational and social-health structures in the capital cities of other EU and non-EU countries up to a maximum of two locations per country
  • in attendance (final test) at the headquarters of theUCBM or in Italian, EU and non-EU public state and private bodies and institutions.

Registration and payment

Enrollment in the AIS Master is incompatible with simultaneous enrollment in another course of study (first cycle degree courses, specialist degree courses, university diplomas, direct schools for special purposes, specialization schools, research doctorates and masters). For admission to the Master it is necessary to send a [email protected] the following documentation:

  • the Curriculum vitae
  • the "AIS admission" form which can be downloaded from www.iadinstitute.it/master/ais

Once you have received confirmation of admission to the AIS Master, to enroll you need to send to the Post-Graduate Training Service:

  • the "AIS Registration" form and the dichiarasubstitutive certification downloadable from www.unicampus.it/masterais
  • copy of the bank transfer certifying the payment of the st installment

Attendance fee

The all-inclusive cost of the AIS Master is € 1.500,00 and payment must be made as follows:

  • 800st installment: € upon enrollment
  • 700nd installment: €120 within days of the enrollment date

Specify the reason for each payment with the 2 acronyms AIS I installment and AIS II installment. In no case will the fees be refunded. We inform you that receipts will not be issued on payments, remembering that - for tax purposes for determining income - the transfer made according to the instructions above allows the deduction of the cost of the course.
