RECIPIENTS
The Master is aimed at graduates and professionals in possession of a second level or four-year or five-year degree, or equivalent qualifications, with preference for the following degree classes:
Class LMG/01 Single cycle jurisprudence; Class LM-63 Public Administration Sciences; Class LM-61 Human Nutrition Sciences; Class LM-69 Agricultural Sciences and Technologies; Class LM[1]70 Food Science and Technology; Class LM-6 Biology; Class LM-7 Biotechnology; Class LM-73 Forestry and Environmental Sciences and Technologies; Class LM-75 Sciences and Technologies for the Environment and Territory; Class LM-56 Economic Sciences; Class LM-59 Public Communication, Business and Advertising Sciences; Class LM-77 Economic-Business Sciences.
The Scientific Committee will also be able to admit to the Master candidates in possession of qualifications obtained abroad, provided that they are equivalent to those indicated above, and candidates in possession of equivalent qualifications in classes other than those indicated above.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
The proposed training plan, developed taking into account the experience gained in previous initiatives, contains modules aimed at developing specialized legal knowledge in the field of Food Law, with a view to interacting with the scientific and market profiles of agri-food production. Due to its structure, the Master is particularly aimed at promoting the advanced training of those who already work or intend to work in the agro-food chain, in the juridical, commercial and technological area, both in the public and private sectors, with tasks of management and/or consultancy, or with control, verification or certification tasks.
The Master's main objective is to provide participants with specialized legal knowledge, both systematic and operational, in the area of Food Law, through the use of a multidisciplinary approach.
PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
The Master intends to offer young graduates the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge required by public and private structures operating in the agri-food sector, and to allow professionals in the sector, including those who carry out forensic activities. Include opportunities for professional retraining of already active personnel.

APPRENTICESHIP
The training course ends with a curricular internship in public or private companies to verify the notions learned in the classroom and to refine and contextualize the methodologies useful for the profession, and with the drafting and discussion of a thesis.
PARTICIPATION FEE AND REDUCED FEES
First installment amount: €1.500,00 (deadline 15 January 2024)
Second installment amount: €1.500,00 expiring May 31, 2024)
The fixed stamp duty and the contribution for issuing the diploma or certificate are added to the amount of the first instalment.
The following reductions in contributions are foreseen, which cannot be cumulated:
- graduates who have graduated within no more than three years at the time of submitting the application for admission, with a score of at least 100/110 who are not carrying out a stable job at the time of submitting the application for enrolment, can request a reduction in the enrollment fee for a period of amount due equal to €2.000,00 (two thousand/00 euros), to be paid in two installments, each of €1.000,00 (one thousand/00 euros) at the deadlines of 15 January 2024 and 31 May 2024;
- public employees referred to in art. 6 of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Minister for Public Administration and the Roma Tre University of 17.03.2022, benefit from a reduction of the registration fee to 2.000,00 (two thousand/00) euros, to be paid in two installments , each of € 1.000,00 (one thousand/00 euros) at the deadlines of 15 January 2024 and 31 May 2024. In any case, the public employees enrolled in these courses pursuant to the aforementioned Memorandum of Understanding will be considered as supernumerary also for the purposes of activation of courses;
- students who have successfully attended post-graduate training courses at universities affiliated with the Master on food law issues will be able to benefit from a reduction of 700,00 euros (seven hundred) on the registration fee, a reduction which will be applied as per euro 350,00 (three hundred and fifty/00) on the first installment and €350,00 (three hundred and fifty/00) on the second instalment.
Registration fees are not refunded in the event of voluntary withdrawal, or in the event of failure to complete the documentation required for enrollment in the Course; - partial exemption from taxes and contributions is provided for disabled students pursuant to article 3, paragraphs 1 and 3, of law no. 5 February 1992. 104 or with a documented disability equal to or greater than 66%, who are required to pay only the first installment and are exempt from paying the second enrollment instalment. To take advantage of the exemption it is necessary to attach to the application for admission a disability certificate issued by the competent healthcare facility indicating the percentage recognised.
