Practical exercise
Participants will be able to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the lesson followed by professionals in the sector and will practice on a simulator. They will attend practical demonstrations and carry out intensive exercises in order to acquire the right dexterity for ultrasound-guided vascular puncture.
Recipients
The course is aimed at doctors, nurses and medical specialists in training interested in acquiring the necessary manual skills for ultrasound-guided vascular puncture. Enrollments are also open to students for a maximum of 15 participants in all including specialists, doctors, nurses and students.
Educational objectives
The course aims to provide participants with the theoretical and practical foundations for effectively using ultrasound guidance for vascular puncture.
Didactic structure and thematic areas
The program is divided into 6 hours of lessons which will take place on 15 September 2018 as follows:

- 03:00 pm Basic concepts of ultrasound - F. Gargano
- 15:20 Sonoanatomy and ultrasound-guided puncture - F. Fattorini
- 15pm Needle navigation - F. Longo
- 04:00 pm Hydrolocation, hydrodissection - G. Pascarella
- 16pm Coffee break
- 04:30 pm Rotation on models and simulators
- 07:00 pm Verification test of learning
- 07:30 pm Closing of the course and delivery of certificates
Scholarships covering
For ESRA Members and the staff of the CampusBio-Medico University Hospital, a reduced fee of €50 will be applied
Certificate
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the course
