Purpose
The University Specialization Course in "Innovation & Digital Transformation Manager" is part of the Innovation & Sustainability (I&S) Project, promoted byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in partnership with Marzotto Venture Accelerator.
Educational objectives
The Course aims to train transversal skills for the management of innovation, with particular attention to the new organization and business models that emerge from the digital transformation processes connected to the new enabling technologies: Big Data, Cloud computing, Internet of things , Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.
The course will therefore analyze and understand the characteristics and impacts of the new Technologies of Industry 4.0, as vectors of innovation and transformation of the productive and organizational contexts of companies.
You will learn how to define and manage digital transformation projects according to the strategies and organizational and business models of companies and how to encourage the involvement of the various stakeholders in the processes of innovation and change, according to the logic of change management.
Particular attention will also be paid to the development of transversal and behavioral skills (soft skills) necessary for the coordination of innovation and digital transformation paths (Problem solving, Decision making, Teamworking, Leadership, motivation and empowerment).

The course is aimed at:
- Company Executives, Entrepreneurs, Professionals and managers (Project Managers, HR Managers, IT Directors, Innovation Managers, Chief Innovation Officers, Chief Technology Officers, etc.) engaged in various roles in the management of innovation processes and digital and organizational transformation of the Public Administration and small, medium and large companies.
- Anyone interested in taking on the role of Innovation / Digital transformation Manager or who already holds this role and wishes to strengthen/update their skillset.
- Managers, consultants and advisors operating in the field of consultancy and outsourced management of services to companies interested in qualifying as Innovation & Digital transformation Manager.
Below are the requirements to participate:
- Bachelor's degree (at least three years) in computer science.
- Knowledge of the main IoT technologies and solutions and knowledge of Networking.
Participation in the course is incompatible with enrollment in other university study courses, namely: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Specialization course, Research Doctorate, active training internship (TFA) and other university Master's.

Starting from concrete problems and case studies, the learner is accompanied in the analysis of the main domain problems and in the knowledge of the main technological compromises and solutions to these problems. | 2 |
ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES 4.0: INTERNET OF THINGS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE |
The module addresses IoT models, technologies and architectures, the main AI solutions and technologies, and the joint integration of IoT and AI in industrial applications. Starting from concrete problems and case studies, the learner is accompanied in the analysis of the main domain problems and in the knowledge of the main technological compromises and solutions to these problems. | 2 |
ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES 4.0:
CYBERSECURITY, BLOCKCHAIN |
The module deals with the problems and solutions related to the world of cybersecurity in an industrial environment. Starting from the risk analysis, the identification, containment, recovery and mitigation strategies applicable in different IT and OT contexts are addressed. The module also addresses issues related to data from protection strategies and techniques to those of historicization and certification based on DLT technology. | 2 |
INNOVATION DESIGN | The module aims to provide basic theoretical and practical elements for an effective understanding of the value of design in business. Through methods of stimulating the synergy between analytical and intuitive thinking, students will be able to acquire technical knowledge and tools to support creativity aimed at finding human-centred design solutions for their own commercial strategies and enhancement of products and technologies. | 2 |
INNOVATION MANAGEMENT | INNOVATION MANAGEMENT
The module provides the basic theoretical and practical elements for understanding the processes of change connected to the evolution of the reference context. The learner will be able to learn about the best practices of approaches to change and will verify their application to digital transformation processes in the field. During the module, skills will be acquired regarding change management tools and methodologies in complex organizations both at the macro (company) and micro (team) level. |

- Energy management and stress management in times of uncertainty. |

Teaching methodology
The Course will be delivered in Phygital mode which combines the online and offline worlds trying to take the best aspects of each to create a more complete and satisfying customer experience.
Title issued and certification
The students who complete the course with the discussion of the final Project Work and who comply with the administrative obligations will be awarded the title of specialization in "Innovation & Digital Transformation Manager" to which 15 credits are attributed.
Those who do not discuss the final Project Work will be issued a certificate of participation in the Executive Course in "Innovation & Digital Transformation Manager".
Duration, start date and location
The course will last 2 months. The start date is on 18th November 2022.

Registration fee
The participation fee for the course is €4.800,00.
The subsidized participation fee dedicated to PA employees is €3.360,00.
