To support scientific research projects against diseases of the elderly
July 28, 2020 - The numbers relating to Dichiarations of Income for 2019 confirm that once again it is theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma the university preferred by Italians for the destination of their 5x1000. 15.506 taxpayers who allocated their 2019×5 to our University in 1000. Thanks to them, 800.164,22 euros will go to support scientific research projects against diseases of the elderly.
A lot has already been done in recent years thanks to the contributions of 5x1000. With more than half of the contributions, our university has in fact been able to finance around 60% of the contracts of young research talents: doctoral students, research fellows, university researchers. With the remainder, it also supported the costs relating to the management and maintenance of the laboratories, the functioning of the research support structures and the transfer of the discoveries towards the socio-economic fabric.
The money allocated by the 15.506 taxpayers in 2019 will also support our innovative and interdisciplinary projects, thus helping our researchers in the fight against diseases of the elderly.
