UCBM continue to form in the best possible conditions
28 April 2020 - In these months in which Italian healthcare is giving its best and healthcare operators are the point of reference for many people, the University can also do its part to allow professionals to continue training. In fact, for the Campus Bio-Medico University, reacting also means not stopping.
Also in the light of the invitation from the Lazio Region to continue the educational activities, in addition to the usual and wide postgraduate offer, a new managerial training course in the health sector will start in June.
The course Specialization in "Health Management" arises in accordance with the Lazio region on the basis of the national legislation on mandatory training for the performance of duties relating to company health management functions and management of complex structures. The objective of the course is to develop advanced skills in the organizational and management area in the participants, to implement health planning policies and interventions aimed at continuous quality improvement, guaranteeing the objectives of the health organizational system.
Furthermore, in light of the current health situation, a module of the Course UCBM will be entirely dedicated to management of health emergencies national, focusing on the theme of the rapid conversion of clinical-care models, on the organizational difficulties connected to this, on the role of leadership in emergencies, on individual and corporate responsibility. The module will be structured on the comparison between the best practices implemented in different centres, so as to suggest common lines and strategic orientations for the future.
The course will be delivered in blended mode: the first part (in June and July) will be carried out electronically, to ensure maximum safety for the participants given the health situation, while in September the lessons will take place in the classroom (guaranteeing safety distances).
At the end of the course the participants will receive both the certificate of management training by the Lazio Region, and the postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management by the University, with the recognition of 16 credits.
