Over 290 places for Medicine and Surgery in Italian, Medicine and Surgery in English and the innovative Medicine and Surgery "MedTech"


Over 290 places available, entrance tests valid for two years even for those enrolled in the fourth year of high school, in person and, for the most deserving based on income, fully covered scholarships for the entire six-year study cycle: these are among the most important innovations of the Degree Courses in Medicine of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma emerged from new call for admissions to the first year published on 22 December.

These are the three Master's Degree Courses in Medicine ranging from the classic Single-cycle Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) up to the innovative ones Single-cycle Master's Degree Courses in Medicine and Surgery e Medicine and Surgery "MedTech" (LM-41), the latter both delivered in English.

PLACES IN COMPETITION

  • For the Single Cycle Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41), for each academic year (2023/2024 and 2024/2025), 140 places are available (for Italian citizens, EU citizens wherever resident and non-European Union citizens legally residing in Italy) and an additional 4 places for citizens from non-European Union countries (resident abroad, who require an entry visa in Italy for long-term stays ).
  • For single-cycle degree programs in Medicine and Surgery and Medicine and Surgery "MedTech" (LM-41), both taught in English for each academic year (2023/2024 and 2024/2025) another 150 places are available: 90 places for Medicine and Surgery; 60 places for Medicine and Surgery-"MedTech".

THE DATES OF THE ADMISSION TEST

  • For the Single Cycle Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) there will be athe only written test set for 17 March 2023.
  • For single-cycle degree programs in Medicine and Surgery and Medicine and Surgery "MedTech" (LM-41), both taught in English, the single written test will take place on 16 March 2023. For admission to these last two courses, a knowledge of the English language at least equal to level B2 CEFR, attested by the possession of one of the linguistic certifications strictly indicated in the announcement and its attachments.

The written test, for the respective courses, it is valid for both academic years 2023/24 and as the first session for admission in the 2024/2025 academic year, both for those who have already graduated, both for final year students and for those enrolled in the fourth year of high school. The single test will be face-to-face and will consist of a test of 80 multiple choice questions on subjects such as logic (50 questions), biology (10 questions), chemistry (10 questions), mathematics and physics (10 questions).

The following scores are assigned to the answers: 1 point for each correct answer; -0,2 points for each multiple or incorrect answer; 0 points for each answer not given. The written test is assigned a maximum score of 80 points. The provisional merit rankings will be published by 22 March 2023.

FULL COVERAGE SCHOLARSHIPS

A significant financial commitment by the University is also expected to reward merit. For admission in the academic year 2023/2024 at the Single Cycle Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) the first 2 successful candidates in the ranking, with ISEE Right to Education not exceeding €45.000, are beneficiaries of 2 scholarships equal to 100% of the single contribution university for the legal duration of the studies (6 years), financed byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and reserved for Italian, EU and equivalent candidates.

For admission in the academic year 2023/2024 the first 2 winning candidates in the ranking of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, and the first winning candidate in the ranking of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery-"MedTech", with ISEE Right to Education not exceeding €45.000 ( forty-five thousand/00)1, are beneficiaries respectively of 2 scholarships for Medicine and Surgery and 1 scholarship for "MedTech" equal to 100% of the single university contribution for the legal duration of the studies (6 years). These grants are financed byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and reserved for Italian, EU and equivalent candidates.
