A unique opportunity for training and research

June 10, 2021 - Globalization and the valorisation of Made in Italy agri-food products require more and more professionals who are experts in the production, transformation, distribution and marketing processes of food. The Departmental Faculty of Sciences and Technologies for Man and the Environment ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma offers a unique opportunity for training and research on issues related to the agri-food sector, among the excellences of the national production panorama.

From 1 September to 15 October 2021 will be held the first Summer School "Agri-food and Supply Chain Management" with industry experts and teachers UCBM: a path for those in possession of a three-year degree from different backgrounds and who wish to enter the world of Food Technologies. The intensive course is divided into 120 hours of frontal teaching, laboratory activities, seminars and educational visits at companies and institutions in the sector. For candidates who do not meet the access requirements for the master's degree course in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management, the Summer School represents an opportunity to acquire the necessary credits.

Among the news UCBM for the 2021-2022 academic year a new training course: the Janus Path. The 15 most deserving students of the Master's Degree Courses in Food Science and Human Nutrition and in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management will be able to obtain the double degree by attending only one more academic year. The goal is to offer students a training course with 360° skills on food and nutrition sciences.
