22 March, 2017 - It will be held on Saturday 8 April at 20.30 pm, at the Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle in Rome, the concert of the Aventine Choir accompanied by the RomaInCanto orchestra and sponsored by the Campus Bio-Medico Alumni Association.
The initiative in memory of the victims of the Mediterranean is designed to support the project of the Elis Professional Training School to build the new Barbiana school in the Tiburtino district of Rome: it is an alternative school that will welcome even the poorest who have managed to reach our country and in which yes will teach to young people active citizenship and sport as values for harmonious and balanced growth.
The concert, which includes the performance of Mozart's "Requiem K626", will be conducted by Maestro Fabio Avolio with the involvement of a 60-piece choir and a symphony orchestra.
