December 14, 2018 - The fight against inequalities and climate change. The commitment of companies in the energy transition. The importance of investments with a long-term perspective and the enhancement of people at the heart of business strategies.
These are, in summary, the topics touched upon by Snam's CEO, Marco Alverà, during his visit to theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma on the occasion of the "Enterprise Coffee" promoted on Thursday 13 December by prof. Roberto Setola.
“I received many pertinent questions and exchanged interesting reflections on a great variety of topics – said Alverà at the end of the meeting – from business ethics to digital, from the sustainable growth of territories to renewable energies. It was a fruitful and stimulating meeting for me and, I hope, also for the numerous students who took part".
Alverà illustrated the many projects carried out by the main European gas utility, from the development of biomethane (also for transport) to the future prospects of hydrogen generated from solar energy, with a view to a circular economy characterized by a safe, clean and sustainable energy mix.
