The final project work will be presented in March to the evaluation commission
13 January 2020 - Time to take stock of the Master in Homeland Security which closed on December 13 with the last cycle of lessons of the 4th edition. Now the participants will have about two months to complete the curricular internship and prepare the project work which will be presented on 2020 March during a public ceremony in front of an evaluation commission.
Over the past year, the participants had the opportunity to meet managers and directors of important national and international companies in the classroom, but also to visit some of our top players in the field of safety and security. Among these, the Italy Situation Room of the Civil Protection Department which has the task of monitoring and supervising the national territory to identify emergencies and follow their evolution. The participants in the Master also had the opportunity to visit the Mario de Bernardi military airport (Pratica di Mare), in particular the Guardia di Finanza Aviation Centre, General Command of the Port Authorities , Control Room of Poste Italiane.
The strong connection with institutions and companies is what has always distinguished the Master in Homeland Security, which offers its students the opportunity to follow lessons held by senior institutional representatives and top managers, as well as having a preferential channel for any opportunities jobs in network companies.
There is time until February 18, 2020 to apply for the XII edition which will kick off the 12 March, 2020. One of the novelties will be the venue for the lessons that will take place at the location in via Salandra, an important smart-working and innovation hub in the center of Rome. A further sign of the Master's openness towards companies and participants who come from outside Rome and who will follow the lessons just a few minutes from Termini Station.
Also in the XII edition, the didactic plan of the Master will meet the requirements set by the UNI 10459:2015 standard which governs the professional figure of the Security Manager. Furthermore, for those who work, participation in the Master will allow exemption from Professional Training Credits, according to the guidelines for updating professional competence.
