The first edition promoted by UCBM on IOT and Big data
September 10, 2019 - It ended on 6 September the first IoT & Data Science Bootcamp organized by UCBM on the site of the historic Hughes Hall College of the University of Cambridge. Thirteen participants including students from Italian and foreign universities and young professionals with engineering and programming knowledge.
The students won the prize during the final hackathon Costanza Cenerini, Piergiovanni Allegrini and Vincenzo Screws, which are confronted with case studies presented by the European partner companies of the project and proposed a wearable device equipped with a machine learning algorithm capable of detecting the loss of contact with the ground while driving. The group spoke of a positive experience and there is already talk of a second edition, thanks to the collaboration with Ferrovie dello Stato which has offered scholarships for women and international students.
