With the mayor of Amatrice, Martin Castrogiovanni and Sara Anzanello
At the start Sport and Culture Week, a central event in the life of the University which reaches its sixth edition. An initiative that this year includes the presence of mayor of the municipality of Amatrice, Sergio Pirozzi, of the former blue rugby player Martin Castrogiovanni and the former Italian volleyball player, Sara Anzanello. The three exceptional guests will speak at the conference "Personal balance and sport" on Tuesday 9 May, in which the debate will be moderated by Sky Sport sports journalist Paolo Assogna.
Students and employees ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma instead they will be the protagonists of a series of activities that begin with one cultural visit to Subiaco (Sunday 7) to continue with the finals of the 5-a-side football tournament “Giulio Marinozzi”, a competition named after the former rector, a great sports fan, and scheduled, as per tradition, at the beginning of the week. New in the calendar of proposals is the concert of thechamber ensemble UCBM which will kick off the musical events with a repertoire of Bellini, Mozart, Ravel and Strauss (Monday 8, 18 pm) in the Aula Magna of the University.
The ball then passes to Musical "Mamma Mia" which will be interpreted by the participants in the theater workshop in collaboration with the university choir on the evening of Wednesday 10. The show continues the following day with the Campus' Got Talent, a real talent show in which students, but also teachers and administrative staff will perform, individually or in small groups. Three categories in the competition: singing and music, acting and entertainment, dance and artistic sports. Leading the show RdS speaker Chiara De Pisa, with a live radio link at 20.50. Instead, among the jurors who will evaluate the performances, there will also be the RdS dj Nicola Perilli which at the end of the evening will animate a DJ set for the students starting at midnight.
But the competition will only be the culmination of the dense day of Thursday 11 which will begin with a Mass to remember Blessed Álvaro del Portillo, inspirer of the University, and whose liturgical feast falls on May 12. Will follow the Campus day, container of sports activities scheduled in the Decima Malafede Nature Reserve in which the University is immersed. Tournaments of beach volleyball, soccer, ping pong and table football in the morning, plus a foot race in the afternoon, will express the sporting soul of the University. Finally, not even the most 'sedentary' will feel left out. For them, in fact, a book sharing, initiative to share the most passionate readings through a fast and interactive exchange.
