"Live the Internet to the fullest", a training program to help you live the web responsibly

Yesterday, Thursday 2 February 2023, the new activities and innovative tools of the training program were presented Digital World Foundation with support from Google.org and promoted together with State Police, Altroconsumo e Anteas to help young people and adults experience the web responsibly according to the principles of digital citizenship and online security. "Experience the Internet, at its best" (VIAM) with the new school year is helping children, teenagers, parents and teachers to live the Net responsibly and also contributes to reducing the social isolation of minors affected by high functioning autism spectrum disorder, with a main deficit of language pragmatics and fragile minors with special educational needs.

This year the focus of the project is the value of diversity , challenge of inclusion, thanks to collaborations with the Don Gnocchi Foundation and with theOperational Unit of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry of the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital. 

The meeting was attended by prof. Eugenio Guglielmelli, Rector ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and Scientific Director of the Don Foundation Carlo Gnocchi, who expressed the importance of moments like this to share the clinical, scientific and innovation commitment in enabling the most fragile people, including children, through the most advanced technologies. "It is a multifaceted action, which goes from the analysis of the clinical need, to the development of support, diagnosis and treatment tools, up to experimentation and evaluation of economic and social sustainability, also through collaborations with the world of research and The platform fits fully into this context of innovation and collaboration. We know that it is a challenge that cannot be won alone: ​​therefore, alliances between research and treatment bodies such as the two IRCCS present and large companies that launch programs of social integration, such as Google, mediated by precious and efficient structures capable of speak many languages ​​in the social ecosystem, such as the Fondazione Mondo Digitale”.
