The Ucbm oncologist awarded the "Special recognition for professional merit" as part of the Venice International Grand Prix. Among the awardees are also personalities from the worlds of culture and business
October 11, 2018 - Italian and foreign celebrities met on 14 September, in the Sala della Regione in the Chamber of Deputies, for the presentation of the Golden Lion for Peace, a recent novelty introduced as part of the international Grand Prix of Venice which came this 'year in its 72nd edition.
Among the winners is the name of prof. Daniele Santini, head of the oncology day hospital of our University Hospital. The Presidential Committee of the International Grand Prix of Venice officially presented him with the parchment of "special recognition for professional merit", a symbolic attestation of his commitment and the goals achieved over many years of his career.
During the event, the oncologist was also nominated for the Silver Lion which will be awarded on December 1st in Venice as part of the Grand Gala of the Awards, together with other coveted awards, first of all the Golden Lion symbol of the Serenissima.
