The Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines gets underway with the illustrious names of Italian research

July 3, 2019 - There is also Eugenio Guglielmelli, Professor of Robotics and Pro-Rector for ResearchUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, among the best researchers of the peninsula who have joined forces in the world of robotics and intelligent machines. They also serve on the infant's board of directors Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines Paolo Dario and Cecilia Laschi of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Alessandro De Luca of the Sapienza University of Rome, Claudio Melchiorri of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, Giorgio Metta of the Italian Institute of Technology and University of Plymouth, Paolo Rocco of the Polytechnic of Milan and Bruno Siciliano of the University of Naples Federico II who, under the guidance of the new president Antonio Bicchi (University of Pisa and Italian Institute of Technology), they are organizing 3 days of events for the general public, for research and business.

The appointment, coinciding with and in collaboration with Maker Faire - The European edition, will be held from 18 to 20 October 2019 at the Fiera di Roma with a very rich calendar of meetings ranging from the first edition of Italian Conference of Robotics and Intelligent Machines dedicated to the dissemination of Italian research at the event Research I present to you Innovation to bring together industry, research, market and capital, passing through the important theme of the transformation of Italian companies with the format Prova d'Orchestra, a meeting point for public and private actors involved in technology transfer. 

Proposing an exhibition area dedicated to interaction technologies within the Fair will be prof. Guglielmelli who, together with Melchiorri and Metta, will take care of the container From projects to Products. On display are the products of Italian research and industry and their applications as well as the future projects and programs of the sponsors.

There will be themes of training and educational paths with space for meetings between companies and new graduates as well as those of dissemination for the general public. At the center is the lively discussion on the problems raised by the growing use of robots and intelligent machines.
