The testimony of Fabio Bolletta, student of the 10th edition

21 January 2019 - The 30th edition of the Masters in Homeland Security. A special edition, since it confirms the success of a course that continues to be a national reference point - and not only - for the specialized training of recent graduates and professionals from companies and the Public Administration. For the occasion, in the Aula Magna of the University, the students will present the results of the work carried out during the internship period. Among them there will also be Fabio Bolletta, who graduated just over a year ago in “Environmental sustainability and civil protection”, who comments: “Coming from a master's degree course in Civil Protection, the topics that most interested me were those of crisis management and business continuity, but I also appreciated the visits to the nerve centers of the Italian security, useful for raising awareness of this profession".

Fabio is completing his internship, which led him to live a work experience in Milan:“I'm working at RINA Consulting and I'm dealing with the protection of critical infrastructures. I found a young and enterprising work environment. I'm learning to put my security knowledge into practice in the Italian and European context in which, unfortunately, the culture of prevention is not yet widespread enough".

When asked what she would like to do after the Masters, she replies that“The choice of my university career has always been oriented towards a profession that could serve the community, making improvements to the context in which we live. This Master allowed me to complete a cycle of academic studies and start gaining experience in the field, always applying my knowledge to safeguard human life. For the future, I am open to facing new and increasingly demanding challenges, perhaps with roles of greater responsibility that allow me to share my professional experience.
