The Minister of the Interior, an expert in security and intelligence, received the most votes from the students
12 April 2018 – The first edition of the award went to the Minister of the Interior Marco Minniti No cure, intended for those who have distinguished themselves in the areas of security and intelligence. The award, established on the tenth anniversary of Masters in Homeland Security, was delivered to him by the prof. Roberto Setola, scientific director of the master, for the dissemination of topics in the field of security.
No cure, "without concern", was the Latin term that indicated the activities that a citizen was not required to deal with because they were delegated to others, and it is also at the origin of the term safety: those who work in this area have the necessary skills to guarantee smooth running of associated life, prevent risks and provide timely intervention in case of emergencies.
Minister Minniti, one of the leading experts in Italy in this field, received the most votes in a survey carried out among the Master's students. His award was also approved by the scientific committee of the course itself, the first in Italy dedicated to systems, methods and tools for security and crisis management.
The President of UCBM Felice Barela, the Rector Prof. Raffaele Calabrò and the prof Marcella Trombetta, scientific coordinator of the Master, as well as professionals and numerous teachers and students from all over Italy.
