Best wishes from Mattarella for the inauguration of the new academic year
11th November 2015 - We report below the message that the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella wanted to send to the Rector prof. Andrea Onetti Muda on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2015-2016 Academic Year of our University.
I would like to extend my warmest greetings to you, Magnificent Rector, to the President Barela and to all participants in the inauguration ceremony of the Academic Year 2015-2016 of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
The significant experience undertaken by you in carrying out a training and research project constitutes an important contribution to the promotion of innovation and progress in science and medicine, in the constant affirmation of the culture of the dignity of the person.
Universities, privileged places for the transmission and processing of new knowledge, offer students, researchers and teachers the tools to contribute to the creation of more modern planning, open to developments in knowledge and able to face the challenges of contemporaneity, characterized by complex social and civil contexts that require shared and farsighted actions.
