8 November 2019 - The Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital runs towards the future and does so by equipping itself with the most innovative tools to guarantee patients the best service. Not only the future opening of the DEA (in April 2020) but also the renewal of already operational units, such as the Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology which has recently been equipped with new machinery.
The objectives of the renovation of the environments and technology are: to optimize the flow of patients (separating the inpatient waiting room from that of the external), to increase the spaces dedicated to reporting with new state-of-the-art workstations and the creation of two dedicated environments atImaging Center. Furthermore, soon the technological equipment of Radiology will be enriched with a dual energy CT equipment, foreseen for the new Emergency room, which will make it possible to expand the diagnostic offer in urgent/emergency situations.
In addition to technological innovation, the team of radiologists of the Polyclinic also takes care of personnel training, in particular with the establishment of the st level Master in Magnetic Resonance Techniques in Clinical and Research Fields, whose second edition will start in February 2020. A training course that aims to train healthcare professionals (and recent graduates) able to carry out morphological and functional MRI diagnostic procedures, in the field of healthcare and clinical research. The professional who will participate in the course will be given the opportunity to carry out the internship at the Polyclinic where they are provided 500 hours frequency in Magnetic Resonance rooms e 250 hours of simulation activities guided by an expert classroom tutor.
