November 16, 2020 - The first edition of the II level Master in "Digital Open Innovation & Entrepreneurship”, an innovative course projected towards the development of minds and professionalism, deliberately going against the trend in a historical moment in which it seems that everything must stop and remain suspended.
It starts in January 2021 with a cycle of lessons lasting 5 months: a full immersion of theory and in-depth analysis that will lay the foundations for being able to then start, in the summer, towards the bootcamp and internship with companies. “The Master is organized in collaboration with Cisco Academy and Marzotto Venture Accelerator, who are not only project partners but who have been involved in the implementation of the modules, so that what is taught in the theoretical part is in line with what companies expect to find in a graduate of this MasterHe explains Roberto Guida, associate professor of Economics of financial intermediaries at the University of International Studies in Rome.
Starting in June, participants will be involved in bootcamp, a term that indicates a structured training event that aims to put into practice key concepts learned during theory. The bootcampUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma is an international program aimed at training new minds in IoT and AI, through seminars, case studies and hackathons. “The bootcamp will be a great opportunity - he says Paolo Soda, Professor of Information Processing Systems at UCBM because it will give participants the opportunity to exchange ideas in an environment of very fertile contamination. After that, the participants will be ready to undertake the curricular internship at one of the partner companies and will thus be able to deal with the working reality".
At the end of the Master the participants will have matured knowledge e skills transversal, able to provide them with useful tools for interpreting the processes of change and adaptation of the competitive context. The goal is to train open innovation leaders, oriented towards the dynamic and adaptive management of organizational change.
Additional required knowledge:
Participants will acquire knowledge relating to the tools and methodologies for managing innovation projects through the analysis of future perspectives and visions of the changes taking place and of the relationship between innovation and competitiveness, strategic scenario and technological innovation, innovation strategies and organizational skills . They will also acquire knowledge of an economic-organisational, technological and data management matrix, useful for governing technological innovation processes in industrial and service companies.
Skills
At the end of the course, the learner will be able to design and implement organizational-managerial transformation projects in industrial and service companies aimed at introducing process and/or product innovation. He will acquire the skills to master innovative digital transformation project management models and techniques, with a specific focus on the development and implementation of new products, processes, industrial research projects and software development. The Master will also allow participants to acquire operational skills and abilities in the thematic areas of organizational behavior, such as communication and leadership in the development and generation of new ideas, creativity, analysis and management of enabling factors and of the factors slowing down innovation, of the application of new information and communication technologies and of their impact on the improvement of effectiveness and efficiency in business organisations.
