Classes will start on April 28th
22 March, 2021 - There's time until April 6 to sign up to the third edition of st level Master's Degree in Intensive Care and Emergency Nursing, organized byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in collaboration with Fondazione Policlinico Universitario "A. Gemelli". Given the current health emergency, it will be a "digital" edition, meaning all lessons will be held simultaneously in the classroom and in live streaming. This will allow all registered students to follow the lessons despite the restrictive measures of the various Regions.
The Master's program offers training on all aspects of work in the Emergency Department: from the relationship with the patient and with colleagues, to clinical-assistance management, up to the management and coordination of triage and relations between DEA and the Polyclinic. Furthermore, all students of the Master are offered the possibility of obtaining the advanced certification American Heart Association (ACLS) and to participate in a project of Design Thinking applied to healthcare, with the guidance of experts from IBM.
"In this historical moment of pandemic - Says Tiziana Marano, Teaching Coordinator of the Master - all the care models and organizational processes of the intensive care unit are being rewritten. This Master aims to help healthcare workers develop critical thinking and offer them all-round preparation, also including the path taken by the patient from the territory to arrival at the hospital. For this reason, strong educational collaborations have been activated with the other healthcare realities of Rome, in order to share a growth project based on the sharing of skills and experiences".
The Master in Emergency Urgency is just one example of the courses UCBM dedicated to the health professions and in particular to nurses but the training offer includes various specialization courses and CME. >> To find out more, visit the Postgraduate page
