40 companies in dialogue with students to build the path of tomorrow
11 April 2019 - “There is excitement in the university world and in our University to give students an increasingly current education, in line with the needs of society”. So does the Rector Raffaele Calabrò Job Day opened, the annual event dedicated to meeting students with the business world.
An opportunity to discuss one's professional future because “work is not a topic of tomorrow – he underlined at the beginning Simonetta Filippi, Pro-rector for training – but it is something that needs to be built today”.
Many stimuli born from the comparison with the 40 companies that attended the day that outlined a scenario in which, in addition to technical skills, the role of soft skills will be increasingly central to fit into a global and rapidly evolving context.
They spoke at the morning round table Roberto Menta, director of the Nutrition and Sustainability Department of Ferrero Italia; Stefano Pilari, director of the Hemolymphatic Diagnosis Unit at IEO European Institute of Oncology; Riccarda Zezza, CEO of MAAM - Motherhood is a master's degree; Marco Paggi and Francesco Biancalani, of the IMT School for Advanced Studies of Lucca.
