Multicenter, randomized, controlled, phase III, three parallel arm study to determine the efficacy and safety of lenalidomide in combination with dexamethasone (RD) versus lenalidom#3BB6394

Project objectives

Primary objectives:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of the combination of RD compared with MMR and CPR in elderly patients with newly diagnosed symptomatic multiple myeloma

  • evaluate the efficacy of lenalidomide as maintenance therapy (combined with prednisone) after the induction phase

Secondary objectives:

  • evaluate the safety of RDa compared with MMR and CPR in patients with newly diagnosed symptomatic multiple myeloma

  • evaluate the safety of lenalidomide as maintenance therapy after the induction phase
