This is how it looksUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma on the occasion of the Open day, the orientation and presentation day of the 11 degree courses, scheduled for Monday 8 July from 14.30 pm. The university opens its doors to present teaching which this year is enriched with two new courses: one in "Medicine and Surgery" in English designed for the global dimension of new doctors and Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management" created to fill the gap of food professionals dedicated to the development of the agri-food sector and the enhancement of Made in Italy.
For courses that have already started, the data onoccupation of 2018, one year after the discussion of the thesis, compared with the national average (XXI Survey on the Employment Condition of Graduates - AlmaLaurea Report 2019), reward graduates ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. The degree in Infermieristica achieved atUCBM at a distance of 12 months it records an employment rate of 75 per cent, compared to 72,1 per cent nationally. Even for the three-year course in Scienze dell'Alimentazione e della Nutrizione Umana, the balance is positive: the employment rate of graduates on campus is 6 points higher than the Italian average (25 per cent compared to 19,1 per cent).
Net higher balance of almost seven points also for the master's degree of the same course: the comparison is between 66,7 percent of the Campus compared to 59,5 percent of the rest of Italy. The gap between the employment rate for the degree in is also positive Biomedical Engineering at the Campus Bio-Medico of Rome (90,9 percent) and the national average (88,7 percent). The rate for the course is slightly higher Ingegneria Chimica per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (born with a marked projection towards the most sensitive and innovative issues of environmental protection, the circular economy and the objectives of the UN Agenda 2039) which for UCBM it is 86,7 per cent while nationally it is 86,5 per cent.
According to the recent survey by the Statistical Observatory of Labor Consultants, entitled “The professional needs of companies. The analysis of the demand for professions of the future: hard and soft skills”, among the highly qualified winning professions in the period between 2012 and 2017 appears the nurse who records a growth of 37 employees, equal to 5,4 percent . The engineer saw growth of 11 units, equal to 5,8 percent.
At an international level, according to the report of the World Economic Forum (Wef) on the professions of the future, in the healthcare sector the figure that grew the most between 2013 and 2017 is the software engineer. That of the renewable energy engineer, according to the Wef survey, in 2018 represents a workforce equal to 16 percent which will rise to 31 percent in 2022.
