Graduated in Bio-Medical Engineering in 2020, she talks about her life and work in the United States, at the Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard Medical School
"The Campus Bio-Medico University gave me in 2020 the opportunity to carry out my master's thesis work in Boston, USA, at the Harvard Medical School and its laboratory, located in the Boston Children's Hospital. The aim of the thesis project was to identify a new approach to analyze and interpret the epileptogenic zone through machine learning techniques and statistical studies of the relevant characteristics derived from the tracings of the patients under examination. I had the opportunity to follow the meetings of doctors who discussed the clinical cases of the patients under examination, acquiring new knowledge in the engineering and medical fields of refractory epilepsy, studying the intracranial signals of 50 patients between 2 and 18 years old. I acquired new skills in the workplace, communication and managerial independence. Best wishes to all colleagues on the Campus who want to undertake a similar experience".
