How do hormones interfere with our hunger control?
Annamaria Colao, President of the Italian Society of Endocrinology and holder of the UNESCO Chair in Health Education and Sustainable Development at the University of Naples Federico II, was the guest of honor at a training meeting of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma theme "The Thread That Binds the Pituitary to Obesity".
"Today, we are trying to understand in a more refined way how hormones interfere with our control of hunger, satiety and energy expenditure, because this will help us treat patients with overweight and obesity" explained Annamaria Colao.
