Another 5 years of collaboration in various research fields is underway

October 11, 2017 - It's the visit of President of the National Research Council in UCBM to ratify the renewal of the framework agreement which has already seen an intense collaboration between the two institutions grow over the past five years. Welcomed by Rector Raffaele Calabrò and from Vice Rector for Research Eugenio Guglielmelli, Massimo Inguscio visited the laboratories of the University where researchers and professors illustrated the various research programs in the field of bioengineering, biosciences and medicine, many of which are carried out in collaboration with research groups of the CNR.

Specifically, in fact, there are 4 implementing agreements that regulate stable synergies: between theInstitute of Photonics and Nanotechnology (IFN) andResearch Unit of Tissue and Chemical Engineering for Engineering UCBM, between the'Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry (ICB) andResearch Unit of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology UCBM, or again betweenInstitute of Biomedicine and Molecular Immunology (IBIM) andGeriatrics Research Unit UCBM as betweenInstitute of Structure of Matter (ISM) andPathological Anatomy Research Unit UCBM. Added to this are numerous collaborations of all the Units UCBM with the CNR in specific projects.

“We are pleased to renew this mutual commitment for the next five years – commented the Rector UCBM – and we look forward to the emergence of further relationships between our Units and the institutes of the CNR. I am convinced that the sharing of ideas, projects and structures between the various institutions must be the way to improve Italian research and make it even more competitive".
