June 15, 2021 - On June 15, 2021 theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma , Alberto Sordi Foundation have signed the new programmatic agreement in favor of the elderly at the headquarters of the Foundation.
An important agreement, as underlined by thelawyer Ciro Intino, director of the Alberto Sordi Foundation: "The agreement commits theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and the Alberto Sordi Foundation for the creation of new social health and social welfare services for the elderly. It also envisages forms of collaboration for innovative research interventions applied to the condition of the elderly. An integrated action aimed at countering the condition of loneliness and social exclusion which, unfortunately, many elderly people are forced to live: a situation whose drama has strongly emerged in this long period of the pandemic. It is important from a symbolic point of view that this agreement was signed right in the house of Alberto Sordi, on the day of the anniversary of his birth ".
Satisfaction shared by Felice Barela, President UCBM, which on the sidelines of the formalization of the agreement haschiarahave: "The synergy between Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and the Alberto Sordi Foundation for the elderly is oriented towards implementation of activities for research and for the study of everything that can contribute to improving the condition of the elderly, both from the point of view of physical health and as regards the social sphere, of inclusion and enhancement of the intergenerational bond. The hope is that the renewal of our collaboration agreement can lead to increasingly effective results: it is an important and concrete act of which we are sure that Alberto Sordi would have been proud".
