Scholarships and subsidies up to the total coverage of fees
July 16, 2020 - Every year theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, together with partner companies and foundations, supports students with numerous scholarships. Full coverage of fees for the entire course of studies is expected for the first 5 classified in the admission ranking for the master's degree course in Medicine and Surgery and for the first classified, among European students, in the admission ranking for the master's degree program in Medicine and Surgery, who have an ISEE income below €60.000 and maintain the merit criteria over the years. For students coming from countries outside the EU, two scholarships are available to cover 50% of university fees.
Support also for students participating in the 'Percorso di excellence' for the degree courses in Industrial Engineering and in Food and Human Nutrition Sciences. The scholarships - respectively 5 and 3 - available to students who have a vote of not less than 8/10 in the third last and penultimate year of high school, are to cover the total university fees for the three-year period. The selected students are then entitled to a course to obtain the IELTS linguistic certification and to a summer school organized in collaboration with international academic institutions.
The assignment of 3 scholarships to fully cover the costs of the Nursing degree course, as well as accommodation costs for off-site students, is based on merit and income criteria. This support is also confirmed in the years following the first, once the merit requirements acquired in the university career have been verified.
The assignment of 18 scholarships to fully cover the single contribution for applicants to master's degree courses in engineering and food and human nutrition sciences in the 'merit session' is based solely on merit criteria. Furthermore, every year, for each degree course, the University makes scholarships available to cover 50% of university fees. For those enrolling in the first year in 2020-2021, one scholarship is available for each course of study.
In addition to the total investment of over one million euros, a further effort of 100 euros is added in favor of students in economic difficulty due to the pandemic. "In this phase of return to normality, we are committed to giving all young people the widest possibility of accessing our University by valuing merit and skills" he explained Andrea Rossi, director general of the University.
