Unisport is born, an inter-university initiative promoted by the Italian Sports Committee

June 20, 2017 - Networking to educate through sport. This is the goal of Unisport, a network promoted by CSI Rome and in which theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma with six other universities in the capital: La Sapienza University of Rome, LUMSA University, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Roma Tre University, Tor Vergata University of Rome e European University of Rome, universities that have decided to join forces to spread the culture of sport and the sports activities, starting with those experienced internally.

The total adhesion of UCBM that through theCampus Bio-Medico Amateur Sports Association promotes training, tournaments and competitions in which students, teachers, employees and alumni participate. From football to sailing, from volleyball to running, from basketball to skiing, both individual and team sports are practiced on the university campus. All of this - between moments of leisure and friendship - aimed at personal growth, with the same spirit that distinguishes the inter-university initiative whose presentation was also attended by prof. Giuseppe Umile Longo, advisor of the ASD Campus Bio-Medico.

In the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies, on 15 June, the 'hexalogue' was launched as a backdrop to the project: education, entertainment, friendship, well-being, inclusion, sociability. An opportunity to generate relationships between students, universities and the local area which already provides for the 2017-2018 academic year a series of inter-university championships and tournaments as well as cultural events and study seminars on the culture of sport.
